Tonight, I am hosting my own show!  Its about love, sex and relationships, and its targeted at MY demographic: BIG OLE GEEKYNERDS!  Its going to be at http://www.8bitx.com at 10pm EST, and its called 8BitSex!  My co-host is Will, the owner of the 8bitx radio network, and the man is INSANE.

If you are presently following me, or have heard of me before, you would most likely be familiar of the name George DesRoches, AKA “Tarby” or “TarbyRocks”. George has been an important person in my life; he is an amazing artist, a friend I look up to, and a person that has helped me out with any problems I have had personally.

If you do follow George, it’s nearly certain that you would have heard his 20-minute mildly grimdark masterpiece “Something Broke”. 

I personally adore this song; my love for it is profuse.

Tarby is going to be playing at BroNYcon in January, and was planning on playing “Something Broke” at the performance.

Well, that was the plan until one parasprite, an egotistical, arrogant bastard who shall not be named, complained to the organizer of the event over the grimdark nature of the song, triggering an overreaction on the organizer’s part that led to an online vote that could potentially lead to the canning of his performance. 

And to think all of this began from a single complaint.

There is nothing that I can do about this; I cannot afford to attend. But if there was anything I can do to help –  anything – I would do everything in my power to ensure Tarby’s performance materializes. 

No one should be stopped from playing their own songs. Nobody should have that right taken from them. Even if you look at modern pop/rap music, you will see that their subject matter and lyrics include suggestive content in abundance.

Please, if you can find enough time in your busy lives to help out a friend, I ask you do only this:
